The Women’s Air Jordan 1 Low “Beetroot” is the women’s sizing of Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe in a luxurious colorway that incorporates jewels into its design. Adding “bling” to an Air Jordan 1 is hardly new—Melody Ehsani’s collaborative Jordan 1 High from 2018 helped popularize the look, and the “Beetroot” continues the flashy theme. The upper displays Beetroot leather overlays on the forefoot, eyelets, collar, and heel that are contrasted by black leather detailing on the perforated toe and mid-panel. The same shade of deep maroon also appears on the Swoosh branding on either side. Additional logo detailing appears on the Jumpman embroidery on the black nylon tongue and “Wings” emblem on the heel.
